The Wanted discuss new album, confirm LMFAO collaboration

The Wanted have yet to release a full-length album here in North America, but the group assures us that they’ve been working really hard on it.

“We’ve been working on it for, like, the last six months, but it’s still not ready yet,” band member Max George says, in a recent interview. “We’re still working away on that and we’ve got plenty more traveling to do yet, so I’m not actually sure when the album is going to be ready.”

The boys have been touring non-stop since the success of their singles Glad You Came and Chasing the Sun, but they did take some time off to work with pop stars LMFAO.

“Real, real, cool guys, and their production on tracks is just insane,” member Nathan Sykes says. “They’ve just been off to Brazil and they came back with all these new fresh sounds; it was cool working with them. I’m not sure if the sounds are a bit too wild to go on this album, but it was a great experience.”

No word yet on when the album will be finished and when it will be released, but we’re dying with anticipation!
