The Wanted head for the big screen with Entourage

After befriending Entourage producer Mark Wahlberg while on vacation in Barbados, British boy band The Wanted are tapped for a walk on role in the upcoming film adaptation of the HBO series. After eight seasons on the air, Entourage ended it’s TV run in 2011. But talk of a movie started before the series even aired it’s final season and news of The Wanted’s involvement in the film hopefully means the movie will definitely see the light of day.

The show’s stars have been very vocal about their desire to see the cult favourite turned into a film, with Wahlberg saying ‘I will do everything to get this film made.’ The fictional show, which followed a breakout film star and his three best friends as they learned the ins and outs of Hollywood, was loosely based on Walhberg’s life.

As long as Ari Gold takes up half the screen time you can consider my ticket bought.
