After posting a teaser video and a behind the scenes clip online earlier this week, The Wanted have finally released the full music video for their second single from the band’s North American self-titled debut album with Chasing The Sun. Directed by X and shot in Los Angeles, Chasing The Sun manages to avoid becoming just another throw-away music video that bases its plot around a glorified photo shoot. While the video has all the typical pop music video elements, including hot girls, dance club scenes and a whole lotta shots of the band oozing sexuality, The Wanted included a deeper storyline for their music video rather than relying on the usual tired plot-less videos.

Taking the song lyrics literally, the band members are approached by women who are ‘sun chasers’ and help the guys ‘live forever’ through a series of events. Sharing the spotlight equally, the five piece group differentiate themselves from the usual fluffy pop music videos with a fun storyline that will keep viewers interested until the end.
