The Wanted’s new album could be out as early as March

It looks like the wait for The Wanted’s new album Third Strike may finally be coming to a close. While speaking with Top of the Pops, band member Siva Kaneswaran said that the UK band is set to hopefully release their third disc in March. Kaneswaran said “We’ve written so many tracks for it, but we’re still writing some more, so we can make it brilliant for you.”

The band has written so many tracks for the new disc, which marks their first North American release, that there may be a second album from The Wanted out later this year. Band member Tom Parker told Billboard magazine “I think we’re going to do two albums, one in April and one towards the end of the year, because we’ve written quite a lot of songs this year.” Okay, I guess we can forgive the delay of Third Strike if we get a second album.
