Following last week’s mouth-watering tweet by post-dubstep heartthrob James Blake, which teased the mention of a collaboration with folkie heartthrob Bon Iver, a track has now surfaced of the joint track. Titled “Fall Creek Boys Choir,” the song was premiered today on BBC Radio 1. A press release states that, “Over the past year James has cited Justin as a key influence and it was via a chance meeting at this years SXSW festival in Austin, Texas that the seed was sown for a future collaboration.” The track was “formed in the spring over email” and features Vernon on vocals with Blake handling the production. Tokyo Police Club have debuted the first of their covers project that they’ve titled, 10 Songs, 10 Days, 10 Hours, 10 Years. So, what did they kick it off with? Moby’s “Southside.” The Gwen Stefani remix, that is. And before you start laughing at the thought of those dudes stretching their registers to meet Gwen’s helium pitch, they called in fellow Canuck Morgan Kirby of M83 fame to help out. (Via EW)
