The Wedge takes a look at the Polaris Music Prize Shortlist

Last week the shortlist for this year’s Polaris Music Prize was announced at a press conference in Toronto. The Wedge was there. Damian spoke to Polaris founder/chief Steve Jordan. He also spoke to shortlist nominee Yamantaka // Sonic Titan. And while shooting throws at Toronto’s largest record shop, Sonic Boom, he also bumped into another shortlist nominee, Pink Eyes of Fucked Up, who lived up to his reputation of being a self-righteous, topless, sunglasses-wearer-indoors jerk.
