The xx “Angels Live in Tokyo” (Video)

While we still wait for a “proper” video from The xx for their new single “Angels,” the trio recorded a very intimate version of the song in a Japanese hotel room.

“We filmed this whilst on tour in Tokyo,” the band wrote on Facebook. “We were so inspired by Tokyo and the view from Romy’s hotel room on the 33rd floor, that we asked our friend Jamie-James Medina to film us recording a version of Angels in there.”
