Hey my name is Robert and I'm one of the producers on The NewMusic... I sit right beside the smiling encyclopedia of music we call Manny who is the other producer on the show. We are both wearing our olive green Castro hats today, they call us Commie Corner and we may just start plotting a revolution.

We've just finished our mini-opus -- a two-part special on Japan, where Hannah and our series producer Kristine got to follow 5 amazing Canadian bands (Metric, Stars, The Dears, Broken Social Scene and Death From Above 1979) around Tokyo and Osaka. Hope you all enjoyed the shows!

I know, I know, not a very inspired blog but soon those synaptic connections will be firing again and I'll try to write something more entertaining. Keep watching the show, we've got some great interviews coming up for the end of the season.
