These are the craziest things that have ever happened at concerts

February 27th, 2014

crazy

Concerts, like everything else in life, never go according to plan. Random things come up all the time, from fans who magically find a way to jump onstage or romantic proposals, we’ve seen and heard of some pretty insane things that have done down at shows.

Here’s a list the most ridiculous things to have ever happened at a concert (and guess who made it to the hall of fame!):

Justin Timberlake catches a fan giving him the finger
As Justin Timberlake was taking a breather and talking to his audience, he spotted an eager fan in the second row flipping him off. Kind of stunned by the gesture, he looks at the girl and says, “Why are you flipping me off? You got second row to flip me the bird?” Here’s a helpful note if you’re sitting up close at a concert: the artist can see you.

Jay Z brings 12-year-old onstage to rap
In an act of dadcore cuteness, Jay Z brought up a young fan of his and allowed him to take the mic for a few minutes to rap his fave Jay Z song. Beware: the video below will melt your heart.

A guy proposes to his girlfriend at a Hollerado show
At last year’s Osheaga Music Festival, a man went up onstage in the middle of Canadian rockers Hollerado’s set to single out his girlfriend and propose on their anniversary. This is true romance that we thought only existed in movies.

A girl proposes to her girlfriend at a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis show
Similar to the one above, a woman took the opportunity during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ equality anthem Same Love to express her love for her girlfriend and propose in front of a packed crowd cheering them on. We still cry when we watch this clip.

Kanye West throws fan out for heckling him
Why on earth would you ever heckle Kanye West? WHY? Obviously, the consequences would be Kanye having you escorted out of the show followed by him angrily storming off. That’s just not nice, fans. Don’t pay money to attend a show and do that.

Noel Gallagher gets shoved by a guy who jumps onstage
Speaking of not nice things to do, don’t attack the artist. At a festival in Toronto, Oasis’ Noel Gallagher was attacked by a man who shoved him forward mid-song. In later interviews, the Gallagher brothers would admit that they feared the worst when they first saw the man onstage. Thankfully, the man was charged and everyone was safe.

Cher Lloyd gets pelted by bottles of urine
At a UK festival, singer Cher Lloyd was greeted onstage by angry people in the crowd who threw bottles of pee at her. Clearly upset by this, she walked offstage and reappeared moments later to lecture the audience about it. It’s okay Cher, Justin Timberlake has gone through the same ordeal.

Justin Bieber puts a fan’s phone in his pants
In an attempt to stop his fans from throwing random objects onstage, he came in possession of a fan’s phone that was thrown onstage after his warnings. To teach the fan a lesson, he slipped the phone into his pants and then took it out and tossed it offstage. Yeah, we don’t know if that really taught them anything…

The Beyonce Hall Of Fame:

Beyonce photobombs a fan’s selfie
In one of her best concert moments, Beyonce snuck up on a fan who was taking a selfie and photobombed the pic. The result has since spread all over the internet and we are eternally jealous.

Beyonce’s hair gets caught in a fan
Even when Beyonce’s hair gets caught in a fan, rendering the pop star helpless and stuck in one position, she sings the crap out of her songs. This is why people call her Queen Bey.

Beyonce sings happy birthday to a fan
Because Beyonce cares about her fans and one day she will sing happy birthday to us too.

Beyonce gets dragged offstage by a crazed fan
Thankfully nothing too crazy happened as a result of this because Bey knows how to handle even the most crazed fans with ease and class. Eternally bowing down to you, Bey.
