They’re not exactly rose coloured… And don’t bother trying to define me as indie or emo (despite my undying affection for Minor Threat), I just like the glasses. I prefer another three letter genre instead, I.D.M.

I heard an interesting thing on a local radio station lastnight; the average Canadian youth can identify over 1200 corporate logos. Those same youths when surveyed could only identify 12 types of bird. I was of course shocked by this and began trying to name off as many types of bird as I could. The first seven were easy. The next three took a few minutes and after that I was stumped. The subtext of the article was that there are over 100 endangered species in Canada alone which was quite a surprise being that overall most of Canada still remains pretty much undisturbed.

Sorry folks… I’ve just been obsessed with over-commercialism lately!
