If there’s anything else that we in the hip hop world love to listen to other than good music, it’s good comedy. From bringing us birthday anthems to inspirational coming-of-age movies, the man who’s been shot 9 times is jumping the bandwagon with Russel Simmons and Diddy to release his own comedy tour. The “This is 50 Comedy Tour” will be featuring 50 Cent’s comedian, Jack Thriller, along with a string of other outrageous mic mockers, set to blaze stages starting April 28th, 2011, when the official Thisis50comedy.com website will launch.

“This tour represents a new era in comedy,” 50 said in a statement. “I’ve put together the funniest, most ignorant comedians you ever seen and we will travel the earth bringing laughter, joy, love, and pain, sunshine, and rain. So brace yourselves because we are coming to a city near you.”

On the last Thursday of every month, viewers will be asked to pay $2.99 in order to watch the episode online, and part of the proceeds will be donated to Japan Tsunami and Earthquake victims. Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for upcoming tour dates, as this seems like another 50 venture worth tuning in to.
