This week RapCity explores hip-hop’s very public break-ups

Hip-hop has a history of airing the dirty laundry of famous rappers. Let’s see, there’s Nas and Kelis, and then Nas and Jay-Z with Carmen. There’s the love triangle between Biggie Smalls, Faith Evans and Tupac Shakur, not to mention the love triangle between Biggie Smalls, Faith Evans and Lil Kim. More recently Kanye West, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa. And let’s not forget Erykah Badu with Common and the D.O.C. or Aaliyah, Dame Dash and Jay-Z. And to a much more dubious extent, Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen. But let’s not go near that one.
On this week’s RapCity, we take a look at the very public break-ups we’ve been subject to over the years, kicking things off with Nas’s latest, “Bye Baby.”
