New Moon soundtrack contributor and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has a new band. Today he announced on Radiohead’s website that he’s formed a new touring group to support his 2006 solo album The Eraser.
Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers is joining him on bass, which makes us think this is going to be quite the supergroup. Radiohead’s producer Nigel Godrich has also joined the line-up.
Yorke says that while they “don’t really have a name,” they’ve already booked two L.A. shows in early October.
