At MuchMusic our favourite thing is to give you mad hook ups to the best new music and this week we have the equivalent to a delicious three foot tall cake – for free! We’ve got three killer new albums that are so fresh, they still have the new car smell. Not only are they new, but they’re a-may-zing.
Sally Seltmann, Sally Setlmann

If you can get passed the first song (I’ve listen to it on repeat about three times) the rest of the album doesn’t disappoint. Oh Sally, I like you, I really like you. Seltmann previously performed under the name New Buffalo and was the writer behind Feist’s huge single, 1234, which won her numerous Grammy’s and sold thousands of iPods. Do not miss this album! Listen here!
Phantogram, Eyelid Moves

This album is like listening to four bands at once, but each song works and fits perfectly on the album. Hate when an artist releases song after song that all sound the same? (Cough*Nickleback*Cough) Then listen to Phantogram. They’re a little LCD Soundsystem, a little Massive Attack and a pinch of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. An awesome chill out album that will put you in your happy place. Listen here!
Robert Francis, Before Nightfall

If you like Sam Roberts, Jay Malinowski and really good rock/folk music, you’ll like Robert Francis. The sing-along choral backing in the title track, Before Nightfall, is enough to make me want to buy the CD. But don’t take my word – listen yourself for free here!
