Thundercat “Walkin’” (Video)

L.A. funk master Thundercat made slap bass cool again with last year’s Golden Age of Apocalypse. As far out as that album was, nothing quite prepared us for his latest video for “Walkin’,” which is both as simple as the title suggests and mind-exploding/eye-popping as you could ever want it to be. Note the cat trying to eat Thundercat’s headdress at the very beginning, and the cameo by his label boss, Flying Lotus, who steals the show at the very end.
