Timbaland Thursdays in jeopardy

Only two weeks ago, Timbaland kicked off his weekly giveaway with Timbaland Thursdays. Now it appears the super producer might have to put a kibosh on the project.

In a tweet earlier today, Timbaland posted that there won’t be any MP3 today.

“i knw some of yall been askin bout timbo thursdays for 2day & i told yall bout my dilemma wit “they” tryin to shut it down 4 various reasons,” he wrote. Adding, “shit got me heated forreal.”

Who “they” are and what the “various reasons” are remains to be seen. But while Kanye West had remarkable success with his G.O.O.D. Fridays series, Timbaland Thursdays have received a fraction of the attention so far, despite having Missy Elliott involved in his two tracks so far.
