Timbo’s Latest Adventures!

May 31st, 2006

Hey everyone, how’s it going? Sorry, I keep saying I’m going to write these more often but it seems like I never have enough time, but I’m going to continue to write them. It just might not be once a week like I hoped, but that’s still my goal.

For anyone that has been to Toronto ever, and has been up the CN tower…WOW! I hadn’t been since I was a kid, and maybe it’s not that cool and I’m just easily amused but I thought it was so cool, and standing on the glass floor, having dinner in the revolving restaurant – it was cool, I just thought I’d let you guys know haha.

It’s been a busy few weeks cause we’re getting ready for the MMVA’s, so keep watching and checking the website, it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to it because this year I will be a part of it, past years I would be on the street in the crowd watching!

I also want to let you guys know of some concerts coming up, just local things that I’ll to be going to and if you can, you should check them out because they are great bands. On Saturday, June 10th Crush Luther & Cauterize at The Kathedral. (Crush Luther – 12am, Cauterize 1am). Rides Again will be playing the same night at the Rivoli @ 10, I’ll be there first then heading over to the Kathedral. I really hope to see you guys there! If you want to check out the bands, cauterize.com, crushluther.com and ridesagainmusic.com.

To answer a few questions from the last blog I wrote: if I wasn’t a VJ I’d love to be in a band and making enough money to do that and only that. Or I’d love to be a fire fighter, I went to school for it after high school. And someone asked what is the worst thing about being a VJ – and do far I can’t name anything! Maybe after I’ve been working longer I’ll have something to complain about but so far this has just been amazing fun. And what inspired me to audition for the VJ search was just my dream of being involved in the entertainment industry somehow. I worked up the courage with the help of a few people telling me to do it, and I got up on stage and did it.

Sorry if this entry is shorter then others, but I have to get some work done! Thanks to everyone who has been watching and supporting, I’m feeling a lot more comfortable in front of the camera, I know I still have more to work on, but when you guys are so supportive and show your support by either coming down or commenting on my blogs it really helps. Thanks again guys, I’ll talk to you later. Don’t change, don’t compromise who you are, and be proud to be you!
