Not only did Miley Cyrus recently bare all in her music video for her hit single, Wrecking Ball, but the pop star is also stripping down for Bangerz album cover.
The album, which comes out on October 8th, is Cyrus’ fourth and will feature the aforementioned single as well as We Can’t Stop.
The deluxe version of Bangerz reveals a topless Miley on the cover, for which we’ve decided to dissect because the internet is dissecting everything else the singer’s doing, right?
Miley: the star herself is, of course, not wearing any clothes. For those who paid attention to her last two album covers, this was just the next natural step in Miley’s clothing (optional) cover choices. 2008′s Breakout featured the singer fully clothed, 2010′s Can’t Be Tamed had Miley showing off some midriff in a tough leather number and so Bangerz finds Miley completely stripped down and really giving us the real Miley.
Neon signs: Bangerz is written in neon lights on the cover, to show the possible fun, nightlife vibe of the songs on the album, as we’ve already seen on the YOLO party track, We Can’t Stop.
Background: hidden behind the neon sign, though, are lots of dark palm trees in its shadowy background, possibly hinting at a more serious, hidden and dark side of the singer that we will see on tracks such as the power ballad, Wrecking Ball.
Overall verdict: This is who Miley is and we can’t, and won’t, stop her from doing her thing. #YGG
