Tips for how to shop in consignment stores

Ever heard those stories about someone finding an amazing designer piece at a thrift store for almost half the original price? I think all us girls dream of discovering one of those designer pieces for ourselves, if only we didn’t have to root around in huge bins of clothes at second-hand stores!

Well our trusty fashion correspondent, Flare editor Laura Lanktree, took us to a consignment shop where the store owners do the rooting around for you!

Laura brought us to Haute Classics, a consignment shop in downtown Toronto, that sells designer pieces from Marc Jacobs to Chanel for a fraction of the original price.
