Google Chrome has released an application that will allow users who are tired of all things tongue and twerk-related to apply a ‘No Cyrus’ function to their web browser. The developer claims that ‘No Cyrus’ will block any mention of Miley Cyrus, twerking, or other ‘ridiculous’ words associated with the pop singer. Like, what? Isn’t that kind of it right now as far as Miley-specific words? Just twerk? That’s one word. I don’t think it requires an entire application. This time could have been better spent on Fruit Ninja upgrades.
Miley isn’t the first musician to have a developer devote time to wiping them from the internet. An app that could be used to remove Chris Brown from the webt was launched a few years ago with Chris Brownout. Ya…I’m gonna go ahead and point out that Miley Cyrus stuck her tongue out and took her clothes off and Chris Brown violently beat a woman and then made little amends, so let’s not group these two together.
Anywho, the No Cyrus app is available now if you really can’t handle any Miley in your life.
