Last Friday, the music world lost a pioneering legend. Adam “MCA” Yauch of the Beastie Boys passed away, after a long battle with cancer. While his life was cut short, his legacy with the Beastie Boys lives on. They forged their own style of music, fusing elements of alternative, hip hop, funk and electronic music.
