Why I Deserve to Win the Contest
Ok, so here I go!!! What’s hotter than the sun, cooler than Pluto and totally out of this universe because it’s both of those things at the same time?!!!:) TOKIO HOTEL!!!!!! THAT is why I love them, THAT is why I am willing to do ANYTHING to meet them and THAT is why their popularity is spreading as fast as a virus! But this virus unlike all the others is different!:) THIS virus HELPS live, get through bad times, cure the wounds on your heart and soul and turn on a light in life of those people, who thought they would be lost in darkness forever! I personally lived through this! That is how I know! When I moved to Canada, I was lost, frightened, depressed! There was no one I could turn to for help, no one who would comfort me and make me understand that life has a meaning and that all I had to do was wait a little bit for it to get better. NO ONE except… TOKIO HOTEL! Their songs helped me through the hardest times. Bill’s beatiful words and the music Tom, Gustav and Georg were playing got me into believing that I am in this world for a reason, there are people who love me, all I had to do was find them which I did! For that, for being “my light at the end of the dark, scary tunnel” I say a HUGE thanks to TOKIO HOTEL, but me saying it right now doesn’t count because they can’t hear my words, because I can’t look them in the eyes sitting here and THAT is another reason why i want to meet them. On top of all that, I want them to know their music is completely amazing! It is so unique! I do not agree with those people, who say that there is nothing new about it. Unlike most of the emo/ punk rock music, i delivers a positive message and get really into your heart! Hypnotizes you in a good way because they are just SO CLOSEE to what you are feeling, No, they’re EXACTLY what you are feeling! For example,just the words that burn right through the blood in my veins “You dream of the end to start all over again” and”They eyes of the city are counting the tears falling down. Each one a promise of everything you never found.” from “Don’t Jump” sent shivers running up and down my spine because that was the stage I was at at the moment, because I was thinking of “Jumping down and starting all over again”, but the phrases “The lights will not guide you through, they’re deceiving you! DON’T JUMP!” and “Don’t let memories go of me and you, the world is down there out of view. Please Don’t Jump” was the only thing that was able to convince me to not do it, to keep going on because it raised hope in me that these “memories of me and you” will come in the future, I really hope these memories come as soon as possible;) and you guys can make this dream come true, if you think I am worthy enough to get picked because I understand only THE BEST FANS should get to meet THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD. Last but not least, I want to thank them for raising my interest towards the German language:D I am taking it next year;) Danke Scon Bill,Tom, Gustav, Georg for improving my education and raising new future life opportunities:D And now, to finish off, here is a short poem I made up especially for Tokio Hotel:
If anyone asks me what do I love,
My answer is TOKIO HOTEL, without a doubt.
If you are wondering why is it so,
My answer is they are my heart and soul:
They have given hope for a bright, sunny future,
They have made me believe in myself when I was not sure.
Their songs got me into thinking
That there was hope for me, that I wasn’t sinking.
When no one understood what I felt,
They were the ones who understood what that meant.
They were the ones, who gave me a reason to keep pushing forward,
They know themselelves that life isn’t easy.
They worked hard to earn their success
They went through the trauma, they went

There isn’t a lot i can say that will make my comment sound that much different than all these other comments. Just like all the other fans it really would make me soo happy if i won this contest. They have been my favourite band for a while now and i really can’t remember what i did before i found out about them. Thanks to them i have made so many new friends and have become a different person. At the last concert in Toronto i had the best time of life, meeting the other fans, and then actually seeing them like two metres in front of me. I was overjoyed! I can just imagine how much more excited i’ll be if i win this contest because I have never met them before and it really would make me so happy if i won. I also think i should win because i’m not just some random person who says they like tokio hotel and really isn’t that much of a fan. The random people who enter this contest, who just want to go if its free don’t deserve to win. If i don’t win then i want a deserving fan who hasn’t met Tokio Hotel yet to win this.

Why I should win this contest is because I’ve been a HUGE fan of Tokio Hotel WAY before anyone really knew who they were in Canada. I’m from Edmonton and I’m proud to say I’m their #1 in the city!

i think i deserve to win because i ahd to undergo surgey on my stomach and i would like to try to relate to Bill on how he felt when he had to have his surgery.i also think i should win because i love tokio hotel i know all of their songs in english and most of them in german. it would mean the world to me if i could win these tickets to see them. i have been a fan of them for about 3 years and they never came to winnipeg and they aren’t going to while they’re on their tour for now so i would like to win these tickets so i can see them. i have never ever been to a concert and this is my first one and i would die if i was able to go.and i could say that my first concert was my favorite band of all times TOKIO HOTEL. i could also say i was able to meet them all thanks to muchmusic

Hello, I would love to win the tickets for my daughter. She found Tokio Hotel thru the Net and we have been following the antics of the boys ever since. Had a blast at TO’s concert-met some great new friends. Tokio Hotel brings people together and are very engaging and entertaining. I am the mother of a 14yr and I have the CD in my car. To meet them would be so very “kewl” as my daughter would say. Tokio Hotel Rox!!!!

I have seen TH in concert once, but would LOVE too meet them
I was the first actual fan of TH in New Brunswick, well the greater Fredericton area anyway. I practically am in LOVE tom kaulitz and bill kaulitz. My cousin is also in love with the band and bill kaulitz, she would LOVE too meet them, and if i was to win this, she and i both would get the chance. It would be an awesome experience!!! -
I can beat 50 reasons!
1. I love tokio hotel.
2. I llearned how to say ‘Ich liebe dich’ may the chance ever arrive that I see them.
3.I love tokio hotel so much that I started learning german. [along with half the other crazed fangirls!]
4. I re-painted my room; then immediatly covered half of my wall with tokio hotel posters and pictures.
5. I have all thier songs in german and english, the remixes, the one japanese one that they recorded, plus all the clips of them talking in english on my ipod.

Hey TH!!! I’m Merin and I love you guys! All of you! Bill, you’re such a thoughtful and gentle person, I though singing In Die Nacht to Tom was just sweet, Tom, you remind me of like that one person who is able to cheer up ANYONE, Gustav and Georg, you guys are just awesome, by the way, I used to go indoor climbing too!!
Ok, now…*takes deep breath… Here is why I should get to meet you guys…
You’re the greatest band and second only to the angels in heaven. (sorry guys, you can’t really beat supernatural beings like that.. haha). You have no idea how much I love you guys… if there was a list of “You Know You Love Tokio Hotel when…” I would fit everything there!!! For example, I never shut up about you guys… and nowadays people don’t let me talk because they know that anything that comes out of my mouth is directly related to you guys. Not only that, I can never stop putting you guys into stud, heck I’m writing a physics essay about you guys and sound waves… don’t worry…I’m not a crazy psycho…
I was going to sing “In Die Nacht” for my school on Music Night… But I realized I would ruin it because I can’t sing! Besides, only Bill can do Tokio Hotel songs right! I love your music so much! Songs like In Die Nacht and Durch den Monsun and Spring Nicht just get to me… my favourite line is probably when you said, “I’ll jump for you” in Don’t Jump… you should have seen me and my friends, we were all watching it and every time we do, “NO BILL NO!” we’re crazy… we know:P
Also, my parents have refused to buy me any tickets because they hate anything but like Mozart, Thank fully, my dad is in Switzerland as usual and my stepmom couldn’tgive a damn. Plus, with free tickets… I’m praying she’ll let me come see you guys… or at least let me “study” with Diana.
Diana! Ahh, Diana is one of the coolest people you��ll ever mee… and if I win this, she’s the first person I’d invite, because… well, because she’s one of the only people who still let me open my mouth (refer to part about me not shutting up about you guys) and because I’ve never met a person so obsessed with you guys, besides me! I have never been so obsessed and into one thing, which is Tokio Hotel, in my whole entire life.
I seriously can’t spend a day not listening to them, ever since finding out about them a year ago. They’re practically like the only thing I listen to now.
And it’d mean the world to me if I won.
I can’t say I deserve this more than anyone else, cause honestly, I don’t.
There are so many other fans out there that love them as much as I do.
But whatever happens will happen.
And it’d be insanely awesome to meet such an inspiration as them.
They’re so young, yet they accomplished so much, conquering Europe, and now starting to take over North America.
And they never gave up on their dreams, pursuing exactly what they wanted when they were only like what? 9 yrs old? They started off just being famous in Germany, then just taking over France, Europe.. and Canada , I just feel so proud to be a fan of theirs.
Who wouldn’t want to meet such an inspiration?

I don’t know if I’d say I “deserve” to win… But if I had to say why I thought I did, it’s because during the last concert in Toronto, I wasn’t able to attend. I had bought myself a ticket and everything, but I couldn’t go because my mom has a slip disk and pinched nerve in her leg and I had to stay here and take care of her. Another reason is that I’ve been a huge fan of theirs long before they even came to North America. I have been a fan ever since I heard their first CD and their first single Monsun. A third reason is that I have never in my life been to a concert do to money issues, and now I don’t have the money this time like last time. I just really want them to be my first concert and I really want to go, so badly… I really hope I do win. Please help me much music!

Dear muchmusic, it has been week since i have heard about Tokio Hotel going to Toronto and Montreal and not yet have I heard that they are coming to Vancouver, BC. I have wanted to see them for so long. I am the only person at my school into them and people make fun of me but I try not to care because I love them and I will not hide my love. They are TRULY an awesome band! I am so happy to hear that I a girl from BC, Canada will be having this wonderful chance to get to go to Toronto and as well as meet them in person. It is so hard being a girl in BC, Canada and not going to all those tokio hotel concerts in Toronto and Montreal. It would be a great honour to just look at them. They are truly inspirational.

I don’t think i should win others deserve it but if i had to say why it would be because i live all the way in Asia and i never got the chance to go anywhere and see them live i’ve been a HUGE fan for a year now and when i heard they were in Israel i got too excited then i found out i can’t enter Israel…For this whole year i’ve loved them they inspired me and even if they were never with me and i never met them the message in their songs was enough to get me through a time of trouble
Because of them im not afraid to show who i am anymore
For a long period of time i was bullied at school just like the Twins because i was the only one who dared to be different and i let people notice i was affected by it giving them more reason to pick on me
But when i heard the twins’ story i dont care anymore sure im made fun of for liking them but no one knows how i feel about them
Also my parents got divorced when i was 8 years old
To me it wasnt any stepdad who was a musical influence it was my actual dad who was because he had a band and i admired him when i was little and i grew up today to be musically obsessed i play the guitar,sing and song write..i live with my mum and dads all the way in Ukraine and the both of us wish for them to go to Ukraine so that it would be easy for me to travel there and finally see them in concert
But that hasnt happened and this is probably my only chance

My friend told me to listen to this song called Monsoon by this band call tokio hotel, so I thought sure he’s got good taste in music so I might as well listen and when I heard it I liked it alot. So later I was listening to the rest of the songs and I loved all of the songs. A while later their cd came out and I went and bought it and that’s almost all I listen to:) Then I heard that they were going to have a concert here in Toronto and I heard of this contest so I said “I have to try”:D Their music has helped me realize alot of things, and has helped me through so many other things. So I hope I win because they’re awsome… and my last concert was in 1999… Britney Spears. So it would be awsome to see them live.

I think that i should win because last time Tokio Hotel were here i could not go because my grandmother died and i had to go to newfoundland. Tokio Hotel has helped me in so many ways and when ever i am sad listening to their music helps so much and thats why i think i should win because this would be the 2nd time i have missed them.

When I first heard about Tokio Hotel I thought that they were truly a great band. The fact that they started out small and now they are international,is amazing. I absolutely love their music, it’s the type where it gets you through the day when you’ve just given up. Their style is very unique, they are really not afraid to show their style. All of this makes me love them, and meeting them would be the best thing in the world since I really never ever met anyone famous. This is the type of band that inspired me to do whatever I want and think that nothing is actually impossible and I hope it inspired others too. So I think I deserve to meet them because they have changed the way I think about life and inspired me to new possibilities.

Tokio Hotel make me smile, they make me look forward to something. I read about them every single day, I look for brand new updates first thing in the morning, I freak out when i see a new PICTURE of them! I know I’m way over obsessed, my friends always say I’m “high on tokio hotel” but i don’t care they are my favourite band in the world, i absolutely ADORE them. I think i deserve to win because I work to promote them. i get other people to enjoy their music, (from my community, from school, from work, family, friends etc)! I put up posters around my town when i have free time to help promote Tokio Hotel in Canada. I’m currently trying hard to learn how to speak German, and i’m even taking a trip to Germany just to see what they’re homelife was like. At their last concert here in february i slept outside in FREEZING weather! I couldn’t feel my feet at all, and the entire time i was thinking “It’s okay it’s for Tokio Hotel”
I’m not mental, i just really love them haha.
I think i also deserve to meet them because i have respect for them. Even though i love them with all my heart i have enough respect for them, to not attack them or hurt them. I deserve to win because i actually care about them, and i don’t want to see Bill, Tom, Georg or Gustav get hurt. I love them so much! If there was another word for love them I’d use it.

I think I should win because I didn’t get a chance to see them perform back in February, when they came for the first time. Tickets were sold out and my grandparents came to Canada for the first time. I have been a really big fan of Tokio Hotel for about a year now and it would be my dream to finally meet Tokio Hotel. I know a lot of things about Tokio Hotel. If you ask me a question I’ll know the answer. I also voted for them on MOD a lot. And I also think it is a really good chance to spend time with my best friend, Anna, who I haven’t seen for almost a year because she lives far and I think it would be fun to hang out with my best friend and my favourite band.

my birthday was about 2 weeks ago…and i just didn’t really feel like having a party. then, i heard that tokio hotel was coming to toronto..and i was super excited because my friend also loves them..but we missed them last time they were here. i called the sound academy almost regularly for about 2 weeks (and ticketmaster), because we weren’t sure of the date but knew that we definately wanted tickets….
basically, we are really excited to be going to the show on friday, and so happy that we didn’t miss them. it would be really amazing if we could meet the band….and if we had another ticket, then we could all go as a group :)it would be really fantastic because we love them so much…
