Tokyo Police Club does Comedy?

What do you do when playing drums for a successful Canadian band gets too serious? Why, you make comedic videos for the internet, of course.

The man in question here is Tokyo Police Club‘s Greg Alsop. Legend has it, he’s been producing and performing stand up lately – even while he’s on tour. Alsop is also behind FunTimeInternet.com, where this video was posted (sensitive ears and sensitive minds beware):

Only problem is, I’m not sure how funny this is. I mean, okay, I chuckled. But some of these jokes sound like my six-year old cousin came up with them. And watch Alsop’s face: his eyes are rolling around like he can’t quite remember his lines, or he’s distracted by something flying around his head. Is this high-quality acting, or just poor concentration?

What do you think? Hilarious? Offensive? Worthy of a nod from The College Humour Show? Or just kinda lame?
