No big surprise, he falls in love with her, only to have Kat discover his intentions did not start out innocently. Sure, it’s a story you’ve seen in films a million times. But Shakespeare totes did it first.

1. Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater – Titanic

One of the greatest films and love stories of all time, Titanic gave us a romance for the ages. As Jack and Rose, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet brought to life a couple who overcame class and tragedy in their short time together. I think most of the world is still waiting for these real-life best friends to get married. Come on, you two!
