Top 5 #MuchLove Romantic Comedies

Flowers and great and I’ve never turned down chocolate, but easily the best part of Valentine’s Day is getting to catch up on your favourite romantic comedies. This past year has brought a new batch of fave rom coms, from zombies to strippers and a little blast from the past.

5. Safe Haven

Safe Haven doesn’t technically hit theaters until today and I technically haven’t seen it yet, but it’s a Nicholas Sparks film. Technically speaking, it’s going to be cheesy, romantic and super cute. I will probably cry. And then I’ll watch it five more times this week.

4. Magic Mike

One of the best parts about Magic Mike (aside from the obvious ‘parts’) is the love story between Channing Tatum’s Mike and Cody Horn’s Brook. Mike is a romantic at heart and isn’t put off by how put off Brook is with his career. Brook doesn’t make things easy for Mike, but he puts in the work to show her that he’s not just a guy with a great, great, great (great) bod.

3. Titanic 3D

I don’t think I need to explain this one. It’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in 3D. AMAZING.

2. The Perks of Being A Wallflower

Previously one of the most underrated coming of age stories, Stephen Chbosky’s breathtaking look at a young boy trying to navigate his first year in high school while dealing with a dark past finally got its time in the spotlight with the film adaptation. From friendships to first loves, The Perks of Being A Wallflower is a coming of age romantic comedy that leaves a big impact of its viewers.

1. Warm Bodies

Half of the world’s population has turned to zombies and the surviving half is doing their best to not get eaten. When human Julie and zombie R find themselves face to face during a raid, it ignites a recovery in R that begins spreading. A hilarious modern day Romeo and Juliet, except in this story, Romeo dies at the beginning.
