Toronto Fashion Week Is In Full Swing

And I’ve been at the tents taking in all the shows as designers unveil their latest trends and looks for spring/summer 2012 (in fashion, they always work one season in advance). The best part of Fashion Week is seeing all of the new collections come down the runway. I also love catching up with old friends we’ve met through #trending. In fact, FOUR of the designers we’ve interviewed this past year are showing at Fashion Week and they’re all getting a TON of buzz! These designers will definitely be #trending this week, but if you’ve been watching our show, you can say you knew about them first!

I’ll be tweeting all week from the fashion shows, so make sure you’re following me @trendingtheshow. I’ll be reporting on all the trends I see (so far: lots of jumpsuits and long dresses!) and I’ll have the inside scoop on what really happens on and off the runway – check my twitter to see which supermodel you first met on #trending took at tumble in front of Mr. Jay Manuel and is now making a splash across the Canadian fashion scene!
