Trailer for Karen O’s ‘Stop the Virgens’ psycho-opera (Video)

Last night Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O saw her “psycho-opera” Stop the Virgens make it anticipated premiere as part of The Creators Project’s Monster Arts and Culture Festival in Brooklyn. Described as “an assault on the tragic joys of youth, fever dreams drenched in visual seduction, a cathartic spell spun through a cycle of nine songs,” a new trailer has been revealed to show just what the lucky folks attending the limited run show have in store for them.

As collaborator and fellow YYY member Nick Zinner says, it’s unlike anything any of us have likely seen. Which really just means, it’s really weird but totally cool by association.
