Seriously, what is UP with R. Kelly?

No really, have you ever just stopped to think about this? Not that I spend much (or any) of my time thinking about R. Kelly, but every once in a while he emerges from his lair and says or does something so incredibly bizarre, so batsh*t insane that he makes MJ look normal. And this is one of those times.

By now I’m sure you’ve heard about his opus Trapped In The Closet - you know, that neverending “hip-hopera” that’s already spawned TWELVE chapters? The whole thing is as non-sensical and cheesy as an episode of Passions AND late-era Melrose Place, if you can even imagine that. Well get this folks - there’s MORE on the way!!

Dude actually “premiered” his latest chapters at a screening in New York City, where a lot of people actually lined up around the block. There are now a total of 22 CHAPTERS, with another 51 1/2 potentially on the way!!

Seriously, WTF??

I guess I can sorta understand why people are fascinated by this thing, because it IS like watching a car crash - but honestly, does R. Kelly have nothing better to do with his time and his record company’s money? “TITC” definitely falls under the “because nobody asked for it” file.
