“I hate Bevers.”

Hey Upper East Siders,
Kim here, with your one and only source into the scandalous closets of Manhattan’s elite (a.k.a. the facts behind the fierce fashion on Gossip Girl.)
Only Maid of Honour Serena could out-do the guest of honour; S delighted viewers with her impeccable fashion sense and left invitees awed at Blair’s bridal shower. The theme, the decor, the Audrey Hepburn-esque waitress uniforms – it all exuded B. But back to what really matters: the wardrobe! Serena’s L’Agence layered dress, Dolce & Gabanna pumps + Sequin necklace = TKO (Total Knock Out). Only S would run errands looking so chic in couture. Not to be out done, S wore Mary Katrantzou’s drool-worthy print dress for the shower. The dress screams Serena’s style; short, sexy and seductive. Who said too much of a good thing can be bad? It was prints, prints, and more prints last night! If her dress wasn’t enough, her Louboutin slingbacks were patterned to perfection. Her pretty pearl necklace was by Auden, and her fab rings were by Roberto Coin and Lulu Frost.
Mommy to be, Blair, looked a little more like granny to be in her Moschino jacket, Alberta Ferretti chiffon dress, and Roger Vivier heels. The quilted Marc Jacobs handbag however, gets the #trending stamp of approval. The Dior embellished bow dress masked an ever expanding Queen B. Earrings by Tzen were a nice addition. B’s lipstick gets a special shout out, because I ♥ the orange hue. I especially love that she sent Louis away, like last season’s bold prints.
And, do you remember what I said about dear ol’ Diana? Yet again, she looked stunning in a solid coloured skin tight dress. The turquoise number looked exquisite on her. What will Diana do now, with her title as Editor in Chief down the drain? Hopefully, she’ll invest in some patterned ensembles.
Looking sublime in a silvery sequined top and boots was Charlie; the outfit was very Serena circa season one. Her multi-tonal Bensoni one-shoulder dress was quite stunning. The Sequin earrings & bracelet added just the right amount of glittery glam. The two-faced tyrant is so darn convincing, I’m starting to wonder if she’ll ever get caught.
Mr. Nate Archibald, The Spectator’s newly appointed Editor in Chief, was looking devine in a suit. Grandpa Archibald is an accessory the storyline can do without BUT, not before revealing the truth about this so-called secret.
I was hoping Chuck’s style standards would rub off on Dan. Perhaps, if their bromance continues, Chuck will persuade D to get a haircut in the episodes to come. Only two more to go before the mid-season finale!
