Finale Friday 7E/4P

Hey Upper East Siders,
Kimtern here, with your one and only source into the scandalous closets of Manhattan’s elite.
S and B stunningly stole the show! And, as we saw in Dan’s book, they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Blair had some back to back Louis going on — Louis Vuitton that is. Blair’s Louis Vuitton print dress was similar to the other LV dress she wore in last week’s episode. I loved the lace hemline and detailing this week’s Louis offered. Her Prada shoulder bag was also totally cute, right? The Alexandre Birman multicolour python pumps that adorned her feet were even cuter. I wasn’t completely taken with the Peter Som chiffon dress she wore for Dan’s book party; I liked the cream ruffled bottom, but I wasn’t fond of the design and detailing of the top. Her Lila Castellaneta jeweled sling-backs on the other hand, were princess-perfect.
Serena’s two tone, skin tight, yellow-white Yigal Azrouel dress looked dashing. The Rag and Bone sweater she wore over the dress was work appropriate, but I definitely preferred the look sans sweater. S and B were all about the python shoes last night, except Serena’s were Yves Saint Laurent. I really liked her studded Mulberry handbag too. The chunky Jody Candrian cuff bracelet was huge and kinda looked like a gladiator shield, which is totally a #trending look this fall!.
Gorgeous in Giorgio Armani (the label even got a shout-out in the episode!), Dan’s black suit, tie and grey shirt will be a best-seller—just like his book “Inside”. I totally love it when dear ol’ Dan suits up though I have a love-hate relationship with his hair right now. It looked good at his book party, but other times it looks like a perm gone bad. I felt for Dan though, when he realized he hurt Rufus’ feelings. Frowns are not a good look on him, and they leave me heart-broken.
I felt bad for Chuck too. He seemed hurt at his character’s fate in the book, but he looked dashing as always in his pink tie, checkered jacket, and pale blue button up. I am thrilled, however, to see a new friendship emerging between Mr. Bass and Lonely Boy.
Nate barely gets a mention. Why, you ask? Because he didn’t show his support for Dan. What saved him, you might wonder? I think N cut his hair, and me likey. His wardrobe was nothing out of the ordinary.
I was not impressed with Charlie. Her outfits didn’t particularly wow me, but her hair looked pretty when straightened. Her patterned dress choices were alright. She’ll be sticking around now that she’s working with Diana and I for one, am not happy. And while I’m not a fan of her character, I definitely fancied Diana’s bright and bold yellow number. So chic!
