Happy Monday! Who watched #trending this weekend? Make sure you tweet us @trendingtheshow and let us know your comments – good OR bad! After all, this show’s all about what YOU want to see!
Everyone seemed to love our story with Victoria Duffield this weekend – and what’s not to love? She’s super cute, super talented and – shh! – her song “Shut Up and Dance” is totally my morning wake-up song! Victoria is also really friendly and fun to hang out with. When we arrived on the set of her photoshoot, she had already been shooting since the early morning and was on her third “look” of the day (changing up outfits and locations). I was scared she might be too tired to chat with us, let alone walk us through the set, but she was totally willing to give us whatever we needed (including showing us her racks of amazing clothes and shoes and blinged-out accessories!)
What I love the most about Victoria is she really is a “triple threat:” she sings (duh!), acts and has been taking dancing lessons pretty much since she learned to walk! In fact, she told us she’s had training in everything from tap and ballet, to jazz and contemporary. It’s one thing to be able to bust a few moves on the dance floor, but it’s something totally different to actually be TRAINED in dance. If you’ve seen Victoria’s video for “Shut Up and Dance” you’ll definitely see how her dancing sets her apart from a lot of other artists out there. Even more: Victoria plays a bunch of instruments and does a lot of song-writing! Here’s hoping some of her compositions make it onto her album!
