Which character says good bye on Friday’s finale of Arrow?
Finale Friday 7E/4P
September 30th, 2011

I know she’s the resident bad-girl, but I gotta agree with Faye. “Where did my powers go” is an understatement. After the binding, Cassie and co. lost their individual powers.
Which seems to suit everyone (except Faye) just fine….until someone starts hunting them one by one. Someone who knows they’re witches, knows their parents are witches, and knows what their parents did sixteen years ago.
What a crappy time to be powerless, eh? What does this guy want besides each one of them dead? Check it out below!
Don’t miss The Secret Circle Fridays @ 9PM ET on MuchMusic, following The Vampire Diaries.
Diana Meade
Poor Diana. On top of her supposedly faithful boyfriend constantly making goo-goo eyes at the new girl, she’s dealing with everyone blaming her for their power loss.

Sorry Diana, but you found your mother’s spell book, you convinced everyone to bind the circle, and now you have to deal with the consequences. The road to hell is paved with good intentions…
Plus, she ain’t making too much headway with Cassie herself either. Besides Faye for some reason, no one understands Cassie when she says “leave me alone!”

But, Cassie actually has a reason to reach out to Diana. A crazy guy attacked the two of them at The Boathouse, and their combined powers took out him…for now.

Turns out nutso Zachary went to school with Cassie’s mother, Amelia, and they were a trio with another woman named Heather. Zachary told Cassie her mother vowed never to return to Chance Harbour, and that he’d make sure the same mistakes didn’t happen again.

And he knows they’re witches. All of them. And their parents. I’d so want my full powers back right about then too!

Oh, and her dad’s dating Dawn Chamberlain, Faye’s mom and the school principal. ‘Cause that’s what he wants his daughter to believe over the truth: he’s a murdering warlock.

Faye Chamberlain

Faye, Faye, Faye – bad-girl or not, you’re totally becoming my fave witch. Not only do you blurt out whatever is on your mind – no matter how bitchy - you’re determined to get your powers back. Plus, you know how to get away when crazed Zachary hunts you down in your secret club house.

Did I mention Faye totally puts Nick in his place? Melissa and Nick are totally slamming, but Nick just wants sex when Melissa wants a relationship. Faye, picking up on this without using powers, calls Nick out on being a douche, and gets him to take Melissa seriously and treat her right.

Good old Faye!
Cassie Blake / Adam Conant
So there’s a dance coming up at school, and Adam does the right thing and hooks Cassie up with another guy named Luke.

To bad Adam can’t stop eying her up though…

And of course Adam and Cassie find there way onto the dance floor together and totally almost make-out right then and there…but somehow manage to keep it in, like always.
Crazy Zachary makes his way into the school and hunts them down. After attacking Faye and realizing they have no powers when they’re alone, he knows they’ve already bound their circle. In order to defeat their circle (or in Zachary’s mind, stop what happened 16 years ago from repeating) he needs to kill only one of them.

Cassie’s the unlucky one caught alone at the dance. But it does prove a lesson. When the circle comes together, they TOTALLY KICK ASS! Floating the man, slamming up on the floor and ceiling, opening lockers and causing objects to fly left, right and center – it’s pretty bad-ass.

In the end, Diana and Cassie actually become friends. Which is good, cause I think Diana is a nice character. But how awkward was it when Diana totally called Cassie on Adam checking her out. This is a good friendship, but it will only end in disaster when Adam and Cassie finally hook-up and Diana finds out….

Charles Meade / Dawn Chamberlain
They actually realize they can’t solve all their problems with murder. So they talk to Zachary first (and warn their kids to stay away) only to capture him at the school and put some magic mojo on him to make sure he doesn’t come near them again.

So why didn’t they just kill him or hex him or banish him or what not? Because of guilt over what happened to his girlfriend Heather. Apparently it’s the reason Cassie’s mom left 16 years ago. Heather was involved in the fire their parents set off…and something happened to her. Zachary let it slip to Cassie Heather wasn’t dead…
So what’s up with Heather? Check out the preview below:
