* Canada’s Ashleigh McIvor won gold in Women’s Ski Cross today, and Ice Dancers Virtue and Moir won gold last night. Booyah, my friends. Booyah.
* Oprah has released pictures of her set from an upcoming show. The set has been made entirely of Godiva chocolates, including the fireplace, chess set, couch, flowers in a vase and grandfather clock. Oh Oprah, how do you crawl in my head and read my fantasies without me noticing?
* Apple’s newest invention, the iPad, has received a lot of slack for essentially being a big iPhone. It has often been compared to the Kindle. But, unlike the Kindle, the iPad will have high graphic capabilities that will showcase graphic novels better than the Kindle. Ya, buying the actual graphic novel will also showcase the graphics. Just a (cheaper) thought.
* The Last Goodbye, a rock musical based on the story of Romeo and Juliet, will feature music of the late Jeff Buckley. The musical is slated to play in theatres between 2010 – 2011. Buckley died accidentally at the age of 30 in 1997.
