Seventeen years ago hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas when he was just twenty-five years old. His legacy and his story still lives on and will be perpetuated in a biopic that will be made by Morgan Creek Productions and Emmet Furla Films with Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, rounding out the helm as executive producer. The movie at this time has been titled, Tupac, has a budget of $45 million and production should take place around next year in Atlanta.
Now obviously Holopac won’t be around to play Tupac in the movie, so how about we play guesses as to who might play the late rapper? We think Fruitvale Station‘s Michael B. Jordan would make a great Tupac! Let’s just hope that this biopic is as good as Selena or La Bamba. We could watch those movies over and over. Actually, let’s! Here are the trailers and tell us in the comments section who you think should play Tupac!
