TVD Episode 7: Lexi & Grama Bennett Are Back! Well, Briefly…

Lexi and Mason were killed by Damon. Sheila was killed by a magic overdose. Anna, Pearl and the tomb vampires were killed by The Council.

But none of that mattered last week when the ghosts came back to Mystic Falls for a little unfinished business.

Let me just come out with this right off the bat: Jeremy was caught kissing Anna. By Elena. Who told Caroline. Who told Bonnie. Who broke up with Jeremy.

See what fooling around with the supernatural will do to you? Jeremy didn’t, and now he’s single.

Lexi came back to give Elena a crash course in Vampire Rehab 101 to bring Stefan back to normal. Sheila Bennett came back to tell Bonnie what went wrong with her spell, and how to make it right. Turns out she needed to destroy Elena’s necklace belonging to the Original Witch.

Mason came back and, after torturing Damon (which he sort of deserved, BTW), led him on a search for something that will help them get rid of Klaus and protect Tyler.

Anna was getting her flirt on with Jeremy (yes, he’s dating Bonnie but he didn’t break up with Anna – she just got killed along the way). But she also wanted to find her mother Pearl, and stole the necklace Bonnie needed to send all the ghosts back.

The tomb ghosts also came back and tore apart a member of the founding families in front of the entire town. Scary s**t. Good thing Caroline channeled her inner Buffy and kicked their asses.

In the end, Bonnie managed to send the ghosts back, but the necklace remained intact for some reason. Lexi managed to break some ground with Stefan, but it’s up to Elena to do the rest. Anna found her mom and gave the necklace back to Jeremy to break the spell.

And Mason. Well he just opened another can of worms. He found something under the Lockwood property that just may show them how the Original Vampires, Witches and Werewolves all came to be in the first place!
