Twilight’s Charlie Bewley heading to The Vampire Diaries

British actor Charlie Bewley is going from the evil reigning Volturi family to the vampires of Mystic Falls. Fresh off his role as Demetri in the Twilight series, Bewley is taking his pale, sparkly skin and joining another vampire franchise, this time with The Vampire Diaries.

Bewley is making his debut as Vaughn in Episode 13 of The Vampire Diaries and is expected to appear in a number of episodes during Season 4. While little information has been released about Bewley’s character, Vaughn has been described as “ruggedly handsome, charming, built and tough as hell.” Check, check, check!

The Vampire Diaries is on hiatus this week, but returns to its regular time next Friday at 8E/5P.
