June is just around the corner and that means North By Northeast has announced the bulk of its 2011 line-up. Arguably the best the music conference/festival has ever assembled, this year’s bill shows a heavy emphasis on credible established and emerging acts.
Among the more established bands set to hit Toronto between June 13th and 19th, are Devo, Descendents, Stars, The Pharcyde, Men Without Hats, Digable Planets, Deerhoof, Hot Water Music, Anti-Flag, The Bouncing Souls, CJ Ramone, Kevin Seconds and Evan Dando & Juliana Hatfield.
Representing the emerging side of the bill are Twin Shadow, OFF! (okay, they’re old but technically a new-ish band), Art Brut, Shad, Land of Talk, Chad VanGaalen, Cults, The Dodos, Dum Dum Girls, Braids, Ty Segall, Suuns, PS I Love You, Crocodiles, Wild Nothing, The Pack A.D., Metz, Dirty Beaches, Forest City Lovers, The Luyas, Lower Dens, Gentlemen Husbands, Rusty, Royal Bangs, Julianna Barwick, No Joy, Prince Rama, Doldrums, Secret Cities, Evening Hymns, Snowblink, Parlovr, Talk Normal, Pujol, Woodsman, Gauntlet Hair,
Joey Cape, Tape Deck Mountain, AIDS Wolf and Houses.
All NXNE Festival passes and wristbands are now on sale, available at NXNE.com. Early-bird pricing for NXNE Priority Passes is available through April 25th.
