Teen Wolf series creator Jeff Davis and Tyler Posey were just at New York Comic-Con and we got some scoop on what they have planned in the future, how Teen Wolf has affected Tyler’s life, and how the show balances being socially conscious and entertaining at the same time.
With the third season on the horizon, it’s easy to think about the future of the show and its cast and crew branching out into other projects. Jeff commented, “Teen Wolf is very much my world for now. Especially since I do so much of the writing”. Davis continued, “If it were a procedural maybe I’d be more inclined to develop another show… Right now I’m just focused on making sure Teen Wolf is still A+ entertainment to its viewers.”
Tyler spoke on how the show has affected his life in terms of the incoming hoards of fans (and potential stalkers) and said, ““I love it… I embrace everything that has come my way and I love interacting with fans.” And speaking of fans, one of the reasons why Teen Wolf has so many is because the show manages to have bare chest action and a cool finger on the pulse of being socially conscious. Jeff Davis talked about what the show has achieved saying, “It’s a balancing act because you don’t want to get into a situation where you’re suddenly preaching, and I don’t want Teen Wolf to become a show that’s constantly hammering the audience over the head with its message.”
Okay, so they’re not Teen Wolf spoilers, but we tried! Be sure to keep it locked on MuchMusic.com for all your Teen Wolf updates!
