Rape and cutting up bodies doesn’t cut it for Tyler, The Creator anymore. Instead he’d rather sing about all the money he has and buying all the cool stuff he likes. Because that’s what he thinks his fans want to hear.

Wolf

His new album is called Wolf and it’s set to be released on May 2012. In an interview with Spin Magazine, the rapper said “talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn’t interest me anymore… What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I’ll brag a little more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I’ll be a smart-ass about it. Now it’s just girls throwing themselves at me and shit, but I got a girl back home. People who want the first album again, I can’t do that. I was 18, broke as fuck. On my third album, I have money and I’m hanging out with my idols. I can’t rap about the same shit.”

I don’t know how that constitutes as “hippie music” but it’ll be interesting to see Tyler, The Creator tackle a different lyrical style. Here’s hoping the change is for the better.

All Of Me

British sensation Estelle is finally coming out with a new album. Titled All Of Me and due out February 28th, 2012, she’s revealed a few of the featured artists on her album and who helped created some of her new songs.

Akon wrote her a track called “Thank You” and Ne-Yo wrote her (and featured artist Janelle Monae) the track “Do My Thing“. Rick Ross appears on the album in “Break My Heart” and Common appears on the track “Victorious“. No I.D. and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis are also lending their voices to her latest album.

If it’s anything like her last album, Shine, expect to be very, very impressed!
