It has been two weeks to the day that I was eliminated from the Much VJ Search due to a surprise bus elimination where my fellow VJ Hopefuls ended up deciding that they wanted to send their biggest competition, myself, home. My journey on the search was cut way too short, and I want another shot at my competition.
Becoming a MuchMusic VJ would mean the world to me, and I feel that at the end of the day, my journey is far from over. Since coming home, I have been hard at the books studying up on my music and pop culture information. Not a second goes by that I don’t think back to that fateful day in Thunder Bay… and not a second goes by that I don’t think about the Much VJ Search.
I feel that my departure was unfair, but I am here asking Canada for another chance; I can’t do it without all of you. I live and breathe music and pop culture, and not for one minute have I taken my eyes off of the prize. If I am blessed with the opportunity to return to the Much VJ Search, I promise to fight to the very end for my dream job. I will make all of my supporters proud, and will make things extremely interesting, and more importantly, exciting!
The other VJ Hopefuls may think they’ve seen the last of me, but they’ve got another thing coming! A vote for me is a vote for HARDWORK, PASSION, and DETERMINATION. A vote for me is a vote for the underdog, a vote for the #COMEBACKKID!
Let’s do this Canada.
Ps. If/when I get the VoteBack – we’re going SLEEVELESS on Monday #TeamTyson! Be sure to show your support!”
