U2 will be streaming their concert this Sunday live on YouTube.

Fans in 16 countries including Canada will be able to watch the band’s performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California for free, beginning at 11:30 pm ET.

It is the first full-length global concert on YouTube.

According to their manager Paul McGuinness, U2 see it as “the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium.”

YouTube will be offering viewers the ability to tweet to one another using Twitter, as well as donate money to Bono’s RED charity via a “donate now” button.

We think the concert should be called U2be. C’mon, that’s gold!
