Universal Australia’s ‘Whoops’: U2 Album Leaked

North American night owls who were up at 4am ET and also happen to be fans of U2 (wait, does such a combination exist?) were in for a treat last night when the band’s twelfth studio album, No Line On The Horizon officially leaked, two weeks before release date (March 3 in North America) on Universal Australia’s legal download platform getmusic.com.au.

An hour later the massive error had been overturned, but surely not before many international consumers took notice and snagged the album for themselves. If you’re a fan of U2, did you grab the link before it disappeared? Or will you loyally wait another two weeks to pick up the album?

  1. Even though I will still buy some sort of deluxe version of this album, several concert tickets, Rock Band downloads, and some sort of book product it’s nice to be able to listen to this early from a legit source. How many of you guys buy albums even if you have a leaked version?
