Usher and Shakira replacing Christina and Cee Lo on The Voice

Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have both announced that they’ll be taking a year off during Season 4 of The Voice to concentrate on other projects, leaving their spots at the coaches table vacant. But those big red chairs won’t be empty for long! Usher and Shakira have been confirmed as the new coaches on Season 4 of The Voice, joining veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Aguilera is opting out of Season 4 of The Voice to promote and tour her new album Lotus, which is set to be released this November. Cee Lo is currently in talks with NBC to produce a comedy based on his family life.
It will be exciting to see how the dynamic changes with the new coaches on board. It will also be exciting to see whether Adam Levine and Usher have flex-off competitions. I’ll tune in for that.
