Arctic Monkeys melting in the sun @ VFest ‘07 - Click to rate this photo

Yes!!! Arctic Monkeys still have ten minutes left of their one hour set (it’s still so unusual for me to see them playing so many songs since I’m used to them blasting through 100 songs in 32 minutes) and they are EXPLOSIVE. They started out with This House Is A Circus and then launched right into Brianstorm, which got everybody into a frenzy.

There were two girls in the audience with whiteboards that said Ritz To Rubble and Teddy Picker on them. When Arctics played Teddy Picker, they changed the writing on the sign to say Fluorescent Adolescent. I wonder if they’ll play Ritz To Rubble? My guess is they won’t!

And I spoke to Alex earlier today and asked him if they’d play 505, as I have yet to see them perform it live, but he said no, they hadn’t brought their organ gear with them.
OK! Off to see Voxtrot on the Future Shop stage now!
