Dragonette slays @ VFest ‘07 - Click to rate this photo

If Gwen Stefani had stayed with No Doubt a little longer, they would have morphed into something sounding like Dragonette. I just caught their set on the Future Shop stage and it was sooo solid.

They are up-beat but not too techno or electronic. Matrina (who looks a little like Nelly Furtado) danced through the set and her husband Dan on bass rocked it even when one of his strings broke! As the weather is getting hotter so are the bands - I’m off to catch some k-os!!!
