Some more quick notes from VFest Vancouver! Stay tuned for more notes from behind the scenes throughout the evening (+ tons more tomorrow!)!

- Someone on the MuchMusic.com team just rode in a minivan with Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance! That means they’re already here, and ready to go on stage for a 90 minute set at 8:30 PT!

- Lots of mudsliding down the hills around the stadium bowl. People are getting really filthy in the process!

- Tons of fist pumping during Rise Against’s set (which is happening on the main stage & on MuchAXS right now!) - the crowd is getting really, really thick.

- Still a massive crowd congregating around the merch tent. Am I ever gonna be able to sneak in there to pick up a tshirt?! Will there even be anything left by the time I get over there?

- I chatted with The Junction after their set on the side stage, and Mike was sporting a HUGE beard. I think he’s ready to rub elbows with ‘arch nemesis’ Brandon Flowers of The Killers - who knows, a skirmish MAY happen at some point this weekend! I’m keeping my eyes peeled for it.
