VFest 07 Random Thoughts

May 20th, 2007

A couple of general VFest observations:

- the line/crowd at the merch tent is still colossal – at least 15 rows deep and showing no signs of moving.

- there is a bleachers area right below our little office that’s already completely filled. Last year at Toronto VFest there weren’t nearly this many people at only 4pm!

- people here won’t let rain & cold weather ruin their good time.

- every band so far has dropped the F-bomb.

- people love The Bled. There is still a big, hollowed out area in the crowd for dancing, running and charging into people. Oh, and the singer just surfed his way through the crowd at the end of the set.

OK, I’m off to work my way through the crowd over to the side stage to watch The Junction perform! I interviewed these guys a while back and they were really funny! Let’s see how they work the festival crowd. :)
