VFest 07 – Smoosh Guest Blog

Hello, this is Asya from Smoosh. We just played our set at VFest in Vancouver. It was so much fun! There are so many really cool bands playing here, and there is free ice cream!

We did a Bloc Party cover that we always play now, called ‘This Modern Love’!. We also did some songs from our oldest CD She Like Electric, and from our most recent CD, Free To Stay. I hope we can play here again, maybe next year or something!

I really like the other bands that are playing here! My favourite band I think right now is called Peter Bjorn and John, from Sweden. I also really love Menomena. Definitely check them out!
