VFest 08: The Fratellis Have The Best Security

While waiting for The Fratellis to get on stage (the whole TD stage got backlogged today and ended up running way past schedule – the only stage all day to do so), I noticed a slight murmur in the crowd at the front by the barrier. Then, suddenly, this big beast of a security guard throws this big beast of a crowd surfer over his shoulders and carries him off. No struggle, no explanation. Still not sure what happened, but my camera obviously couldn’t resist to capture the oddity:

Oh, and yes – the Fratellis were pretty damn good, with drummer Mince Fratelli smiling all the way through their set – maybe he knows something about the pre-show security debacle that we don’t…? Oh those crazy Scots…
