I only had the chance to catch The Kooks play a few songs because they came on stage at 8:40 instead of 8 and since the Foo Fighters were set to hit the stage at 9:10 I wasn’t going to miss any of the Foo’s. Kat later informed me that the reason why everyone playing on the second stage was delayed was because of Shudder To Think’s extended set.
As I walked toward the stage I saw a bigger crowd than I had expected. As the guys hit the stage, the crowd showed their appreciation. The lads from Brighton, England opened their set with their first single from ‘Konk’, Always Where I Need To Be.

Then they went back in time and pulled out Matchbox and Eddie’s Gun from their debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out’. As much as I wanted to stay and enjoy the rest of their set I knew I had to get back in time to find my friends and get a decent view of the stage for the Foo Fighters. But from the three songs I saw the kooks play I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing them once more.
